BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please familiarise yourself with our Highfield Farm and Woodland’s Kestrel Nest EcoHut (hereby referred to as Kestrel Nest EcoHut) booking policy to ensure all our guests have a comfortable stay.
Check-In & Check-Out Times
Check-in after 2 pm. Check-out before 10 am.
The Kestrel Nest EcoHut is a two night minimum stay. If you wish to stay only one night, you will be charged the equivalent rate of a two-night stay. The inclusions remain the same.
The Kestrel Nest EcoHut can cater for four guests – two adults and two children. The overnight rate for the Kestrel Nest EcoHut is $375 per night for up to two guests and a $25 supplement for each additional guest.
Infants & Children
We welcome children of all ages. Please note that children occupying a bed count towards the total number of guests allowed to stay at the Kestrel Nest EcoHut. Infants are not included in the headcount. Please bring your own cot and highchair as these are not supplied.
Highfield Farm and Woodland is a smoke-free property.
While we love our furry friends, we do not allow pets.
We, of course, welcome those accompanied by assistance dogs. Please let us know if you will be bringing an assistance dog so we can hear from you about any special requirements you have.
Cancellations and Changes
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, a full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, a 50% refund up to seven days before check-in. Cancellation and/or amendments within seven days of arrival will forfeit all monies paid.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all bookings to protect against unforeseen circumstances and travel cancellations.
If you book via our website, payment is required on booking via the Stripe payment system.
If you book via Airbnb, payment is required on booking via Airbnb’s platform.
We also accept credit card payments via phone with Visa and Mastercard only.
We do not request a bond. However, guests must produce a credit card to be recorded for security purposes on confirmation of booking. This card may be used to pay for any additional costs incurred, including but not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared, i.e., any breach of these conditions.
Check-in details are provided by email once guests make full payment. Guests
will also be sent a detailed e-guide to Kestrel Nest.
A text message will be sent to guests within seven days of their stay, re-confirming check-in details.
If guests fail to check in by midnight on the scheduled arrival day, we will consider that a no-show. There are no refunds for no-shows.
For safety reasons, our maintenance staff reserve the right to enter the property anytime to repair any fault.
You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses, and disruptions due to electrical storms, bushfires, or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events beyond our control and agree not to make any claim.
You agree that regardless of your length of stay, no tenancy or other rights are created under any Landlord or Tenant laws, and no such laws apply to your stay.
